Notedrop Official Chartlist
Step 1: Download the Standalone and Set Up Directories
• First, download the Notedrop standalone, following all instructions.
• Place NotedropDelta.exe into a folder of its own, preferably with an easy-to-remember name like “Notedrop”.
• In this folder, create two more folders: one called “songs” and the other called “charts” (without capitals).
• Finally, create a text file called “chartlist.txt” (without capitals). We’ll need these folders and file for Notedrop to create an Offline Mode chartlist.
Step 2: Download the Charts You Want!
• Search through the table below to find the charts you want to download.
• Click the download links to obtain their files in a .rar archive.

Step 3: Register the Charts with Notedrop
• In the .rar file you downloaded, you’ll find two directories: “charts” and “songs”. You can just drag these into the Notedrop directory and merge the folders, or copy the folders within those folders (in the .rar) into the corresponding folders in your Notedrop directory. This puts the song and chart files where Notedrop can reach them.
• Next, go into chartlist.txt, and add another line of text (a “chartlist entry”) that says “[artistname]-[songname]|[chartername]”. These aren’t the full names of the artist/song/charter; they’re the ones that appear on the folders of the song and chart. The best way to tell is by looking at the chart folder, which is in the format “[chartername]-[artistname]-[songname]”, and just copy that and put the charter name at the end after a “|”.
Step 4: Test It!
• Now for the final step. Take a big breath.
• Start up Notedrop Standalone, and enter Offline Mode. Check to see that the chart you downloaded is there.
• Is it all red and does it say “ERROR ERROR ERROR?” That means you should check the chartlist entry (line of text) in chartlist.txt.
• If that’s not the problem, then make sure the song and chart files are in the correct place. Then, when the chartlist entry works, play one of the charts! If you’re in the game, good job! If you’re not, a red-yellow (!) probably popped up in the upper-right hand corner. This will tell you that you’re missing some files. In this case, try extracting the files from the .rar again, and make sure every file copies completely and to the correct place. If nothing seems to work, contact an administrator and we’ll help.
Step 5: Play
• Pat yourself on the back and play the chart. Have a fun time. Downloading a chart can seem like a daunting challenge at first, but as you get the hang of it, everything becomes easier and easier until you won’t even need these steps anymore. So don’t give up and keep at it, and you too can play Notedrop without an internet connection.
